In a world flooded with content, someone spent hours, days, even years, putting together ideas and crafting words onto the pages you read. But who is this person? What drives them, and motivates them? They have stories too, and Hello Author gives you, the reader, a chance to get to know the author through a verified account and interviews.
How it works
Tell us about you, your book and where to find it. Also share an existing interview (or request one). We review every application and interview personally — no bots or automated screening. (Note: to be approved, you must have a book available for readers to purchase from at least one retailer, online or otherwise, and have at least three real reviews).
You can request an interview from a Hello Author interviewer. If selected, we will schedule a recorded video conversation with you and provide you a link to attach to your profile.
Once approved, you can choose to make your profile public. Readers, publishers, and platforms can see you’re the real author of your work.

What motivated them to tell their story? What is their process? What other book plans do they have in the future? An author interview gives you, the reader, a chance to find out more about your favorite creators.
Reading is subjective. So are reviews. Hello Author profiles and interviews allow you to do a little more research about an author and their work prior to making a purchase.
Hello Author is a SINGLE location where a reader can find links to author interviews without having to search through the myriad of social media sites themselves. And if an author doesn't have an interview elsewhere, Hello Author gives their authors a chance to interview directly here.
